The TTP oil safer kit is made to protect Cayman, Boxster and Carrera engines. When these cars are driven hard on a race track or normal roads with fast corners, oil starvation can destroy the engine.
 

We explain why:

When you are cornering right, especially on a race track with semislicks or slicks, the engine oil is collected on the left side in the sump, because of centrifugal force. The original oilpan cannot hold the oil in the center. Therefore the engine oilfeedpump has starvation. In this sitiation the TTP oilpan with baffles and spacer solves the problem, as the original oilreturnpump in the cylinderhead is in the front of the head and able to return the oil from the cylinderhead back to the sump. The TTP-oilpan collects the oil in the center of the sump. Oil starvation cannot happen.

 

When the car is driven in fast left corners we have a different problem.

The oil inside the right cylinderhead is collected in the front of the head, because of centrifugal force. The original return oilpump is installed on the rear side of the head. Therefore the oilpump cannot catch the oil. The result is lack of oil in the oilsump and the engine oilfeedpump has starvation. The oilpan with baffles and spacer cannot help, because where is no oil, the baffles cannot hold it.

Our solution for this problem:

We install a TTP custommade twinoilpump instead of the original return pump. While one pump is working like the original returnpump, the second oilpump returns the oil from the frontend of the cylinderhead back to the sump. The oil level in the sump is high enough now and the oilpan can hold the oil in the center. The engine oilfeedpump has no starvation. The TTP oil safer kit is manufacutred in OEM-Standard, with CNC machined items. The kit can be fitted in the car. It's a bolt on system. Only a bore and a 1/4" threat has to be made in the valve cover. It's not possible to deliver a modified part, because zylinderhead and volve cover are one unit. The valve cover is a bearing cap for the camshafts.

  To install the oilsave kit you have to do the following steps:
  01. Put the car on a lift.
  02. remove the cross-menber between rear left and right side.
  03. Take out the original oilpump from the right cylinderhead.
  04. Remove the valve cover of the cylinderhead.
05. Make a bore and a 1/4 " threat on the place you see on the picture.
06. Screw in the fitting with lock-tide. The thread on the fitting is parabolic, there fore you don't need gaskets.
  07. Install the valve conver.
  08. Install the twin pump.
09. Install the hose.
  10. Install the cross-menber and finish the car.
